Terms of use

Free to use, with clear rules and limits.

What the results cover

CognitiveDrill provides browser-based skill tests for interest and practice. Results describe performance on the specific task completed.

Device, browser, surroundings and familiarity with a task can all move a result. Compare repeat attempts on the same setup for the clearest view of your progress.

Use of the site

The tests are free to use and need no account. Do not attempt to disrupt the service.

Do not use automated clicking or typing software against tests that measure human performance. It makes our future figures worse for everyone, and it makes your own score meaningless.

Some tests involve repetitive movement. Stop if anything hurts.

Accuracy and liability

The site is provided as is. We take accuracy seriously, and we publish our measurement limits on the methodology page.

But timing in a browser depends on hardware we do not control, so we make no warranty that any figure is exact. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of a score from this site.

Content

You may quote our written content and published figures, with attribution and a link. You may not copy the tests themselves wholesale. Cited research belongs to its authors and publishers. Questions: [email protected].
